Domain Name sales have really shot up
Well this is one strange market. For 2 months I don’t sell a name, then during the last 11 days I’ve sold 9 names.
Where this interest has come from I don’t know, and why it’s come at this time is a little odd as the financial markets have been crumbling, housing is steadily dropping and the poor consumer is carrying a mountain of debt on their shoulders.
Admittedly I have dropped my asking prices a little – but not by a lot and I can’t believe this has led to the increase in interest I’ve been seeing.
It could be that buyers may feel the market has bottomed out and are hunting for bargains, but as I said above I haven’t been giving these names away.
I’d be interested in hearing from any others who have seen an increase in demand for their names and if anyone out there has an explanation for it.
